With more than twenty years’ experience within the B2B events industry covering global conferences, exhibitions and training workshops, Daniel brings with him a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the company. 

 

As the Founder and Managing Director of Spire Events, he led the Singapore team to successfully pioneer ‘Mining Investment Asia Conference & Exhibition’ in Singapore in 2015. This is an event that gathers international miners, investors and service providers with a strong focus on the South East Asia region. Under his strategic leadership, the company successfully expanded the Mining Investment Conferences globally to Africa, Latin and North America, Europe and Middle East.

 

In 2018, Daniel further developed Spire Events into an emerging and recognised international events company by co-organising “Mauritanides” with the Mauritanian Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Mines. This landmark event is the country’s largest mining and energy Expo and Conference which was attended by over 1500 people, including the President, Prime Minister, Ministers and foreign Ministers from Morocco and other neighbouring countries. Major MNCs such as BP, Shell, Exxonmobil, Total and Kinross Gold also sponsored and exhibited at this event.

 

With a clear vision to bolster the long term international profile of the company as a leading Conference organiser in the critical minerals space Daniel has also pioneered the Critical Minerals & Energy Investment Conference Series in Perth, Western Australia in 2021 which has since expanded within Australia to Brisbane, Queensland and globally to New York, Germany and Japan.
